About NomBot
A small food app, made by one person, for anyone who is tired of deciding where to eat.
Why NomBot exists
NomBot started as a private tool. I am a picky eater who is also bad at picking, which means a lot of evenings that go, "I do not know, what do you want?" and then we eat cereal. I built NomBot to answer that question in one tap, with a real restaurant, nearby, right now.
It is aimed at people who want to eat well without running a fifteen-tab research project: couples on date night, friend groups mid-debate, anyone on vacation in a city they do not know, and me, every Tuesday.
Who's behind it
NomBot is built and operated by Mindless AI LLC, a one-person studio in Texas. I'm Zach, a Navy veteran and cybersecurity engineer. I ship NomBot on nights and weekends.
There is no venture round, no growth team, no analytics department. Just one person trying to ship something useful without wasting your time.

NomBot leans on your taste to rank what surfaces, so the picks skew toward what you'd want.
Your data stays yours
I store only what is needed to give you a good pick, and I never sell it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
No dark patterns
Free tier is free. Full stop. Subscriptions cancel from iOS Settings in two taps. No guilt trips, no fake timers.
