Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-15
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a plain-English agreement between you and Zamaylo LLC, the one-person studio behind NomBot ("NomBot," "we," or "us"). Please read them before using the app or website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using NomBot, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The Service
NomBot is a food-recommendation app, available on iOS and Android. It helps you discover restaurants near you or in a city you choose, save preferences, "spin" for a meal when you can't decide what to eat, start a Group Spin with friends, and share a restaurant recommendation through a public link. Available features, pricing, and supported regions may change as the app evolves.
3. Accounts
- You may create one NomBot account per person. Accounts are personal; do not share them.
- Keep your sign-in credentials (Apple ID, Google account) secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use NomBot. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
- Let us know promptly if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else.
4. Purchases and Founders
NomBot is free to use, with a limited number of free spins. You can get more through NomBot Coins, the NomBot Week Pass, or Founders. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their billing terms.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change. A price change never affects something you already bought.
- Refunds are handled under Apple's or Google's refund policies and applicable law. For an Apple purchase, request a refund from Apple. For a Google Play purchase, request one from Google Play or contact us.
- Founders is a one-time purchase, available while spots remain, and it is yours for as long as NomBot operates. It lets you spin without spending coins, up to 50 spins a day. Restore Purchases brings back Founders access on a new device signed in to the same store account.
5. NomBot Coins and the Week Pass
NomBot Coins are a virtual item you can use only inside NomBot. You can buy coins in packs, and we may also give you free coins, for example when you sign up or when a friend you invited takes their first spin.
- What coins do. You spend coins on extra spins and on extra Group Spins. The app shows how many coins an action costs before you spend them. What coins can be used for, and how many each action costs, may change over time. Coins you already have stay usable for as long as NomBot offers coins, subject to these Terms.
- Bought coins never expire. Free coins you get for signing up or from an invite expire 60 days after you get them. Coins converted from earlier invite bonus spins do not expire. If we give back a free coin after a failed spin and that coin had already expired, the returned coin expires 7 days later. When you spend coins, free coins are used first, starting with the ones that expire soonest, and bought coins after that.
- No cash value. Coins are a limited license to use a feature of NomBot. They are not money, have no cash value, are not your property, and cannot be sold, exchanged for cash or anything outside NomBot, transferred, or moved to another account.
- Your account, any device. Coins belong to the NomBot account you were signed in to when you got them. They work on any phone where you sign in to that account.
- Failed spins. If a spin you paid for fails or returns fewer places than it should, we give the coin back.
- Refunds. Coins are final once bought, except where Apple, Google or the law requires a refund. If a store refunds a coin purchase, we remove the coins it added. If you had already spent them, we may pause free coin rewards and limit coin purchases on your account for up to 90 days after the most recent such refund.
- Deleting your account. If you delete your NomBot account, any coins and any Week Pass time left on it are lost for good and cannot be restored or moved. Deleting your account does not by itself issue a refund or change any refund rights you have under store policy or law.
- The NomBot Week Pass is a one-time purchase that lasts 7 days from when the purchase is applied to your account and does not renew. While it is active you get up to 5 extra spins in each 24-hour period, counted from when the pass started, and you can start up to 50 Group Spins a day. Buying another Week Pass while one is active adds 7 days to the end of the current one.
- Invites. When a friend joins with your invite code and then completes their first spin, you each get 5 free coins. You can earn up to 10 invite rewards in any 30-day period. Rewards can be delayed while a refund review is open, and invite claims go through abuse checks. Invite rewards are for real people you invite.
- Abuse. We may withhold, remove or reverse coins or a Week Pass that were obtained through fraud, a bug, a refunded or reversed payment, or a breach of these Terms.
- If NomBot shuts down. We will give you at least 30 days' notice in the app before we stop supporting the use of coins, and we will tell you how any unused coins will be handled.
6. Acceptable Use
When you use NomBot, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise bulk-extract data from the app or our APIs.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Harvest restaurant data or user information for commercial or competitive purposes.
- Abuse, harass, or attempt to harm other users, our partners, or our staff.
- Use NomBot to violate applicable laws, regulations, or the terms of our service providers (Apple, Google, etc.).
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the service or the networks it runs on.
- Misuse the restaurant-sharing feature, for example to send spam, harass others, or distribute share links in a misleading or unlawful way.
- Create multiple accounts, use fake or automated accounts, or use other tricks to collect free coins, invite rewards or free spins.
7. Content
Restaurant listings, menus, hours, photos, and other third-party content shown in NomBot are sourced from providers such as Google Places. We display that content as-is and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability. Always confirm important details (hours, prices, menus, dietary information) directly with the restaurant before relying on them.
NomBot lets you share a restaurant recommendation by creating a public link. When you share, you are distributing NomBot's recommendation and note along with third-party restaurant data; that content remains ours or our providers' and is provided as-is. You are responsible for how and where you share these links, and we may disable a shared link that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.
8. Disclaimers
NomBot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that recommendations will be suitable for any specific dietary need, allergy, medical condition, or lifestyle. You are responsible for verifying that a recommended restaurant or dish is safe and appropriate for you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NomBot and Zamaylo LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
10. Termination
You may stop using NomBot at any time and may delete your account in-app via Profile > Account > Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, or created risk or legal exposure for NomBot or other users. If we terminate your account for a breach of these Terms, any coins or Week Pass time on it are lost, except where the law requires otherwise. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including NomBot Coins and the Week Pass, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply after your account ends.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and NomBot agree that any dispute arising out of these Terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you have under the laws of your home jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of NomBot after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
